Review from TripAdvisor.com
The Cutten Inn has been around for some time. If you have not heard of it by now, then my friend, you have been missing out on some of Eureka's finest dining.
Let's talk about the restaurant itself. Shall we say intimate? Lets. The place is a bit on the small side, seating approx. 50 people inside, with a little extra room outside on their deck when the weather approves. With a small cocktail bar at the back of the dining room, the restaurant offers full service. And give full service they do. Every time we have dined here, we have been satisfied with the service, to a great extent.
Food. That is a major criteria for a restaurant review.
Seafood, Good.
Pasta, Good.
Steaks, Excellent.
Prime Rib, on a level all of it's own. (the chef rubs the roast with horseraddish before baking)
The Cutten Inn. Good place for adults to have a quiet, hi quality meal, and a really good Long Island Iced Tea too.

DESSERT OF THE WEEK

Baked Alaska, it is perfectly alright if the first thoughts that ring in your head are of buttered Salmon. I too, didn't understand the charms of this deceptivly titled sugar explosion. Leave all ideas about fish at the sea, because Baked Alsaka will leave you with a dessert high that you'll never want to come down from.
With that said, what is Baked Alaska? Take the age old classic yellow pound cake, give her an Extreme ice cream makeover and cover it all up in the frothy goodness of meringue and VOILA!
Try Cutten Inn's Baked Alaska this week and let Cupid violate your taste buds.
